Cinematographer | Editor | Filmmaker

Since 2005 I have been working as a cinematographer and editor on films, documentaries, and commercial productions. Together with a small, experienced team I can take care of the entire process – from concept to final edit. That combination is where the strength lies: keeping the creative line consistent from beginning to end.

As a director of photography and documentary filmmaker, I believe that everything should serve the story: the lighting, the atmosphere, the sound, and the rhythm of the edit. I enjoy creating together with clients, directors, and teams, always with a focus on quality work and a smooth, enjoyable process.

Over the years I have worked for brands, advertising agencies, production teams, governments, NGOs, and event organizations – often in long-term collaborations, some that have lasted for more than 15 years.

Projects related to sustainability, ecological challenges, and nature give my work an extra layer of depth. From this motivation, ECOFILMS was born: a label within HENK.film dedicated to films with an ecological foundation. Together with partners and clients, I aim to contribute to stories that show how people and nature can be reconnected.
